Hello There! Thank you for Stopping By!
My name is Lynne! I’m a mom and wife of two who rarely carves any time out for herself. Often busy and running on fumes of caffeine, I need to slow down. Breathe. Take a timeout and make time for my writing.
I am passionate about many things. From important, major events happening in the world and around me to minor events and every day occurrences.
I love deeply. God. My family. Chocolate. Coffee. Pizza!
I have many interests: Art, music, poetry, writing, bird-watching, star-gazing, singing, movies, some TV, and reading.
A couple of my interests go along with my passion— poetry, writing, and helping people.
How it Started:
My love for writing started with my mother. Routinely, she would read fairy tales at bedtime. With each fairy tale, my love for stories blossomed. My imagination went wild along with my love for the stories and their happy endings that were like magic to me!
In middle school, I started writing children’s stories, and poetry. Love struck teenagers write good poetry. In high school, I fell in love with Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare’s poetic drama spoke to me. It pulled at my heartstrings. I wanted to write something beautiful.
That’s what I like about poetry. Making something beautiful. Toying with the words. The challenge of writing it..

When I was in school, I dreamed of being a writer one day. I wrote a ton! Although, when I had children, I pushed the dream aside to make room for their dreams. I felt like their dreams were more important than mine. Now I realize how important it is for me to hold on to my own dreams so I can encourage my children to do the same with theirs! Ironically, they both love to write! Maybe it will become a passion!
